• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RT Limited - Frustrated

As with Cruzr Joe, I have not had any issues at all with my 2012 RT Limited in almost 10,000 miles. The seat does get a little warm, but nothing at all like you mention. I only mention this as possible encouragement for you. Contrary to Spyderpoops comment, I know many other very happy Spyder...

    Koolaid drinker

Congratulations!!! The more you ride it, the more you'll love it! And you'll love it from the first mile! Nice choice btw.

    Reserve

I use the odometer and usually fill up between 130 and 150 miles on my 2012 RT. I have about 10,000 miles on it and by using the odometer I've never worried about running out of gas. I've owned too many Harley's to ever trust a fuel gauge. But that's just me. To each his own.

Traded my GL1800 for a new RT S

I traded in my 2009 Goldwing for a 2012 RT Limited. I liked the 2009 Goldwing the most out of all the bikes I've ever owned. Having said that, I have absolutely no regrets about trading it in for the RT. Your going to love it! Congradulations !!!!

Well said DoggyDaddy. And some excellent points as well.

    Think I have the bug

I have a 2012 RT limited with a little over 8,000 miles on it. When I bought it new last year I just rode it. I haven't had a bit of trouble with it, but there was some serious unlearning to do! It was all fun though. For the first couple of thousand miles the 75 mph highway riding was dicey...

Newb looking to get a ST Limited

For what it's worth, I have never heard anyone ever regret moving up to a Spyder. The more you ride one, the more you appreciate all the advantages. My last few new bikes were a 2003 Softail, then a 2004 HD Classic, then a 2009 Ultra Classic, then a 2009 Goldwing. With the exception of the 2009...

Which handles better, Spyder or bike?

:agree: Completely !!! When I switched from Harley's to a Goldwing I heard all sorts of rants. And in every case it was from people with far less riding experience than me. Now that I've switched from two wheels to a Spyder, the uninformed, ignorant, ranting opinions of these people is even...

    Spyderquest 2013 *****Official Thread*****

Thanks for putting this together! My wife and I will be there for at least 2 of the days! So far it sounds like you've put together a really fun event!

Not everyone can drive a Spyder.

I wonder how many of us are in the same boat? My wife would not get on my Sportster or Softail. She would ride on the Classic and Ultra Classic, and was even more comfortable on the Goldwing, but she just did not like all the leaning and feeling of a two wheeler. Now she loves the Spyder. Don't...

Not everyone can drive a Spyder.

I have to wonder if the guy had any clue of how stupid he sounded? His "story" is beyond ridiculous. Bought 2 Spyders? 300 miles then 30? How could he expect anyone to believe such nonsense? It's the kind of silly BS you get from a 4th grader. No... Make that a 3rd grader. By 4th grade they are...

    ST Limited heated grips?

Salesmen with little or no knowledge of the product they are trying to sell, are usually a sign of a bad dealership. Good dealerships don't hold on to bad people. First this guy tells you it's not standard. Then when you challenge him, he says he needs to check with BRP! ( I would suspect that...

    Long Distance Ride

I agree completely! I don't think NancysToy could have stated it better! At least that has been my experience. Spyders, motorcycles, and cars are three very different animals. The trick is knowing when to quit. Once you start losing your edge or wits, you are no longer reasoning with the same...

    Long Distance Ride

I have done a certified saddlesore ride. While it was fun, and I'm glad I got to do it, I would not pass up a chance to do what Mouthpiece suggested or even the route Mr Orange linked. I did the Saddlesore with three other compatible riders and in great weather. Towards the end my senses and...

Picked up my 2012 RT Limited today

Congradulations Gmac! Where did you buy? At Marks? If so how was your sales and delivery experience? I have heard mixed reviews on their service department. I've never used them for that reason, but they would be much closer than Flamingo's. Although I have had good service from Flamingo's so far
