• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RS - Throttle Lock

:f_spider:I simply placed a fat "O" ring behind the edge of the grip. It provides some friction and will allow your hand a break. Be WARNED! If your used to the springing back of the throttle in an emergency this will not happen!!! I have had the "O" ring on since my 1st ride last year and I'm...

    Cheap mod for drink holder

I have the one from Amazon but got it somewhere else for a lower cost. Google is wonderful! Also put a small strip of soft rubber under the clamp and it will stay put and not roll with the weight of the drink.:2thumbs:

Questions - RPMs, Control Cluster, Lights

From what I have heard the BRP recommended shift for our "performance motor" is between 4000 and 6000 rpm. Gas milage? whats that? Your riding a SpYder!!! :joke: Joking aside your dealer should be able to hook up Buds and see your shifting points and suggest any changes if needed. This was done...

    U-Haul 6X12 Trailer with 4'9" Ramp

The U-Haul is not going to work due to the front tire width. I went with a trailer sold at Lowes and Home Depot @ $600.00. Had to modify the deck to lift the front wheels to clear the side rails. The trailer has good towing and capacity.

Arrived in Lake Placid on Thursday afternoon and picked up the welcome package. RogerB (another Maine rider and my hotel roommate) and I began to plan Fridays ride. TIPS and TRICKS (Built in Frunk light)

I just picked up a pair of white LED strips from Wally World and tapped into the 3 amp fuse. Its the same fuse that powers the dash light on my GS for about a minuet after the key is turned off. That is plenty of time to put stuff in the Frunk. In fact I also used the same source to power my...
