TIPS and TRICKS (Built in Frunk light)

Some people put lights in the FRUNK. I discovered something by trial and error one night. I reached up and hit the pattle switch on the forward part of the right handlebar. Both headlights lit up and it was ample enough light to see in the FRUNK. Maybe some of you said (DUH) But ,if everyone knew this ,why would you put a light in the FRUNK? Your engine or ignition doesn't have to be in the on position. Happy Frunk searching.:2thumbs:

I don't find it hard to dig in the Frunk with one hand and reach for the handlebar with the other.:clap::helpsmilie:Yes I understand you wanting improve a very simple Factory option but, It's a FACTORY OPTION.

I just picked up a pair of white LED strips from Wally World and tapped into the 3 amp fuse. Its the same fuse that powers the dash light on my GS for about a minuet after the key is turned off. That is plenty of time to put stuff in the Frunk. In fact I also used the same source to power my "Spyder" bumper light.

It is a factory option, but for those who are running HID lights, they don't like to be flicked on and off quickly like that, as they take time to heat up to their full color spectrum. I have accidentally hit the switch with my HIDs installed while working on the Spyder, and they light the trunk up really well.
