• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone come up with a Ryker Frunk Lock?

That's very true, with that flush lock you would have to use a key every time you opened and closed it.

A word to the wise regarding CVT belt

Kind of makes me wonder why the CVT needs to be filtered at all. Off road machines like the Polaris and Can Am don't filter there CVT's at all and there exposed to dusty trails and sand and extreme heat and abuse. An on road bike running at hi speeds its more important to keep it cool than...

Anyone come up with a Ryker Frunk Lock?

That should work fine, you might have to put a spring on the door so it pops up to grab it open.

    Vibrating plastic panels

I found this on mine a while back. https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?124295-Engine-knocking-noise-FIX!

    Ryker Comfort seat installation?

That is the first I heard that the Rally seat was better or thicker than the Ace seat. They never advertised it as being better.

    Loose airbox

Yes mine is that way also. Seen a post awhile back with same complaint. Seems secure enough it won't fall off.

    Passenger seat foot pegs

I have not seen them being sold separately by Can Am. Maybe check with a dealer or order the parts separately from a parts house.

M2 shocks vs Elka stage 5 vs KYB

Received and installed my Elka stage 3 front shocks today, takes about 30 minutes. A short ride of 20 miles confirms these make a big difference in overall handling. They especially get rid of most of the wheel hop and bounce at speeds. The Ryker has a lot of feedback through the handlebars...

M2 shocks vs Elka stage 5 vs KYB

Ordered front shocks directly from Elka Canada 11 days ago, just received UPS tracking # this morning for Tuesday delivery so 15 days total including weekends. Had Elka's on my Spyder and it was a world of difference.

Not a Glowing Endorsement for LED Headlights...

I installed the same LED's and it was a tight fit. I think the right side was the tightest, but I was able to get them installed without removing headlight assembly. They work great and really light up the road. I also have a modulator on them and you can see me coming half mile away. haha

    Four-way flashers on Ryker ?

Reverse flasher disabled when parking brake applied.

    Hand brake?

I agree, I would like a hand brake but Can Am does not put them on any of there vehicles. There was an after market hand brake for the Spyders but it was expensive and kind of awkward the way it integrated with the brakes.

    Make your own accessories!

Another useful 3D item to print for your Ryker, all models. A helmet holder for the handlebars! Print one or two for both sides, makes it convenient to hang your helmet on. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3781823
