• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Winter riding in Oregon?

Ride all year I ride all year in N. Utah. RT doesn't like snow more than 3 inches deep. Shoot, I used to ride my Goldwing all year too. Depends on how much you like riding.

Best mechanic in the Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada and California area.

Matt at Renegade Sports here in Logan, Utah has been great. He won't quit until he has fixed the problem. I have found him to be very honest. If you want to come here PM me and you can stay at our place while your Spyder is being fixed. Cheers, Larry

    Snowed In - Really

Good thing It's a good thing you decided to stay put. Cedar City had 6 inches of snow and power was out. Early May in Utah is always iffy with the weather. I made it home with only a few sprinkles and no snow. I thought I was crazy until I saw someone water skiing at Mantua lake on the way...

    Air filter

Probably true. However I put 80000 on a 76 Honda 550, 90000 on a 79 Honda 750, 100,000 on a 86 Yamaha Venture Royal all running K & N filters. Not to mention my 66 Chevelle Malibu convertible that I raced for 3 years. Anyway they have worked well for me. Cheers, Larry Sent from my iPad using...

    Air filter

I guess someone should have told my 2001 Goldwing. I put 250,000 miles on it. Had a K & N filter from day one. Engine never burned oil and had never been apart when I sold it. Cheers, Larry

    spyder rt vs gl1800 trike

My brother rides a GL1800 trike conversion and I ride a 2011 RT. My CB works great. He can't keep up with me in the corners but he gets better gas mileage. Both have + and - and both are a great ride. I like the better stability the RT provides in all situations, even in snow. Cheers.

    Air Wings

Baker Air Wings Love them. Have had Baker Air Wings on every bike since 1984 Goldwing to now, my 2011 RT.

travel cover Mine wouldn't fit after I added a rack. I used my old Goldwing travel cover. Added holes for my antennas and it works great. Cheers.

Eight degrees last Feb. on a 250 mile round trip to Idaho Falls. Wondered about my sanity at the time. I ride all year if the roads are dry. Cheers
