• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3-s recc?

Whilst is a similar looking handlebar switch block, it has totally different functions on F3-S, which does not have radio or iPod interface.

    F3-s recc?

As I said (!), it's not in the Owner's Manual (aka Operator's Guide).

    F3-s recc?

I have a 2018 F3-S which has an RECC like the attached photo. The OEM Operator's Guide informs about the totally different RECC on the F3-T, but no mention of the one on the F3-S. Whilst I've sort of worked out what most buttons do, does anyone know if there is documentation on this that...

    F3-S Saddlebags/panniers?

Just taking delivery of a 2018 dealer demo F3-S and in need of some luggage. Been looking at Shad SH36 panniers and Leatherworks bags. Any Australian distributors or reasonably priced alternatives? https://photos.app.goo.gl/NonGuYsrgRAJfxnd9 Thanks, JK

    Brake Failure alarm

Tyranny of distance - my closest Can Am dealers are 2,00km in Darwin or 2,300km in Perth! John Kennedy

    Brake Failure alarm

I've just confirmed that my Spyder is indicating Fault Code 1282. Both Brake Fluid reservoirs are full, and the floats are moving freely. However, the procedure given in this thread to reset the Brake Failure alarm does not seem to work for me :( I do have a new pair of rear pads, so might...

    Brake Failure - C1282 - Fixed!

I guess this is it, but does that three wire connector just pull out - it looks like it's molded in?

    Brake Failure - C1282 - Fixed!

I have the same or similar problem. Brake Fluid levels were fine, but I put a bit extra in just in case. Still cannot reset the "Brake Failure' alarm on dashboard. Thought I'd give this "fix" a try, but ..... I do have a manual, but it's not apparent (to me) where this "brake pressure switch...

    Brake Failure alarm

I've done that, with both now over the Max mark on the reservoirs. However, the Brake Failure Alarm reset procedure doesn't have any effect.

    Brake Failure alarm

Brake Failure (2008 RS SM5): Brake Failure warning on today - Manual says low fluid or brake sensor failure. Well, it's not the former, for fluid's the first thing I checked :( Trouble is I live in rural Western Australia (Broome) and am 2,500 km from nearest dealer in Perth. Anyone any...

    Steering free play

Frustratingly, I can see and touch that pinch bolt from the side of my Spyder, and I can even get a (13mm) socket on it. However, I can't get the socket arm/driver onto the socket to rotate/tighten it :( Of course, even if I could it probably would just turn (not tighten) without a...

    Steering free play

I can but assume we are talking about what looks like a pinch bolt in parts 42/43 in this diagram, yes? Thanks, John K

    Steering free play

That sounds more like what it could be :( It's certainly nothing to do with the power steering or alignment (which is spot on). Only trouble now is actually getting to it :( For starters I cannot even see how to get to the bolts (due lack of clearance) that holds the handlebar cover on! See...
