• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

White Spyders Belong To ALL the "Color Clubs!"

An outside vendor is making these mesh jackets, Batman shown. I think DocHands knows the supplier also. I don't know the company but Darkside might have their name and contact info. Here we pulled into a small dinner that all excited.

Seen this "glow in the dark" helmet?

:agree: This looks like the guy that blocked traffic on I-65 during Lynn's group ride. Cars coming over the hill at 65+ mph and the right lane is blocked and only a short distance to change lanes. I thought for sure someone would get killed. One of the reasons I will not return for my 4th...

Here's a hot one...or maybe not warm enough

If the service manager wore a helmet his ears would not have frozen :lecturef_smilie:. When I picked up my '12 RTS I had pointed out that the belt was against the sprocket hub but service tech just blew it off without even looking at it. I had a very bad vibration throughout the whole trike on...

    Service Intervals

I have an Excel spreadsheet with the service intervals that allows you to record each service, repair, or modification date. You can query the spreadsheet to get a list of what is currently needed. Just send me a PM with your email and I will send you a copy.

    Stupid TSA Regulations

I fly most weeks. The full body scanners pick up my kidney transplant so I have to get the pat down about 70% of the time. I get a kick out of the TSA 311 announcements at O'Hare. Every few minutes they announce what you can carry past the security check points. The funny part these...

The Abate class was in Indiana no further explanation for me. I got rear ended by a women in Indiana - 3 times :mad::mad:. After the first hit she backed up to flee and hit me again then did it again. Never did get around my car.

    Nice Surprise

The wings can be removed in a few minutes. I found that the wings would blow up onto my hands. Going down the road in a light rain only the bottom of my hands got wet :dontknow: I also got some gas fumes pulled back to me that I didn't when riding without the wings. I did not run them very...

    This HURTS!!! Help?

I did a 1600 mile ride on my '12 RT that does NOT have as bad a right foot heat issue as the '13 RT. My leather boot on my right foot changed colors and the sole was damaged. I ended up putting ice water in my boot every gas stop to keep from getting burnt :banghead: It was 98 out most of the...

Anyone else have a rear shock blow out after only about 6000 miles?

The shock was bad but the air bag its self was most likely still good. The back end will bounce more than normal and many people don't even notice that the shock has failed. To test: Press down on the rear end and it should go back up to the neutral position and stop. If the rear end goes up...

:agree: and said so in my response. The issues with the '13's will be keeping me from buying another Spyder if they carry over to the '14. I feel sorry for the '13 owners and am so glad that fortune had it I got a big insurance check and moved my plans on upgrading a year earlier :ohyea:

    Replaced my Honda Gaskets

:agree: The Honda gaskets are much better. I changed mine on my old GS after 6000 miles. The engine stared to back fire and the right side was getting very hot! I bought Two new sets after another 11,000 miles but found out the old ones were as good as new. I now have two new sets but...

Look how we got the '14 RT with the bigger engine, etc, etc. If the new RT turns out as good as it appears to be, BRP must have taken our previous requests seriously.

believe it or not- you won't believe what happened to me this week!

Those computers go down a lot. I've been stuck for a few hours in other countries because "the computers are down". Having to be separated from your wife for 9 hours had to be nerve racking .
