• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Which Ram Mount for my Spyder?

I've got the clutch mount resevoir mount for my TomTom Go, with the RAM arm and holder. It works very well for me.

Any Ontario Spyder riders out there?

Hey Jay, I'm over on the other side of Toronto in Milton. I'm probably the only Spyder owner in the area. I've had people that I work with ask me "Hey, were you up in Acton yesterday?" Or Caledon, Guelph, or Oakville etc... And yeah, it was me! Maybe we can find others in Ontario that...

    Cold Blooded

Hey Bigdave, Yes, mine does the same thing. If I don't wait for at least 1 bar, mine sputters and the hindle pop's from time to time. It sometimes does it on occasion even if I have 1 bar and take off. If I wait for 2 bars, its golden. Jason

6 feet, 5.5 inches, 245 lbs. and gotta get one!

Hey Street Spyder, I'm 6'1 1/2 and a shade under 250lbs myself. The only complaint I have about the Spyder is the leg cramping on longer rides. I have the same problem on just about any two-wheeled motorcycle with the stock position pegs. After about 1 1/2 hours, if I don't stretch out my...

    A louder Hindle

Hey Spyderdawg, I wish I saw this post before I went there today, or I would have asked. ;) I just remember them saying they removed the tack welds. No idea how they did that though. The baffle is in there a ways. I did manage to take a couple of pictures down the barrel of their hindle...

    A louder Hindle

Hopefully I can get out to the dealer this weekend. I'll bring my digital camera with me and do a small video clip of the sound of my Spyder with the unmodified Hindle verses theirs with the baffle removed. Hopefully the owner's bike is there that day. If its bright enough outside, I may be...

    A louder Hindle

Hey Spyderdawg, Sorry about the delay in posting that picture. I've been away for the past week. Poor Spyder was probably getting lonely too! :( Anyways, here's the pic: I *TRIED* with red circles to show where the dealer either removed the welds or clipped off the baffel. That center...

    A louder Hindle

Hey Spyderdawg, I was speaking to a couple of guys at my dealer, and they made a mod to the Hindle they have on the owner's bike which gives it more of a bark. I've got the Hindle on mine as well, and theirs is definitely louder. Basically, inside the output end of the exhaust pipe there...

    How Stiff?

Hey zzNeonzz, That really all depends on how much you weigh, and whether you carry passengers or not. For example, the rear shock I think a setting of 3 was for 150lbs, and 5 was for a 200lb person. Setting 6 and 7 were for riding with a passenger. I forget what the range for the front...

    Spyder Bucks?

I think this is a fantastic idea! Let's go BRP, make it happen! Its a WIN WIN situation. 1) BRP wins more customers (and makes more money) 2) The nearby dealers sell more Spyders (and THEY make more money) 3) The referrer gets "Spyder Money" to buy more BRP accessories or parts...

UP Ride info, if you didn't get an email, let me know

You probably won't be disappointed with Antlers restaurant. I've been there a few times myself, and the food was good and the whole restaurant was a hoot! Mind you, I haven't lived in the Sault for 15 years now, so ya never know what's happened in that timeframe.

    my Spyder is here...sorta

:congrats: Canuk! I hope the wait isn't too painful! :) As others have pointed out, start planning out which mods you want on your Spyder first. And if your a Canuck like me, start by looking to the US for the BRP stuff. It's way cheaper. I got my Hindle from a BRP dealer in Connecticut...
