• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Codes C006C & C0063 - Anyone have a source for a Ryker Rally Steering Lock Tool? Or a DIY alternative?

If you want the tool: https://leadersrpmshop.com/can-am-new-oem-spacer-529036476/?srsltid=AfmBOopQk6D2rPlhPObd-fC8aE25L-KM8_tErHQqcKT533k4lDia0-ZR I've purchased parts from Leaders - they can be a bit slow.

Codes C006C & C0063 - Anyone have a source for a Ryker Rally Steering Lock Tool? Or a DIY alternative?

You'll not be able to tell if you need the Steering Update Kit by wiggling. The Service Bulletin explains the issue. In my case, I could tell the SAS was bad because I would rezero it, ride, and then find that it was off by 4-5 degrees. I'm not sure that you can tell anything from the yaw rate...

It may be the yaw rate sensor, it may be the Steering Angle Sensor (SAS). You may need the Steering Update Kit called out in this Service Bulletin: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10181946-0001.pdf The issue is that the SAS and yaw sensor readings do not agree. The SAS says you are...

Desperately seeking a way to save and keep my 2014 frunk lid when I trade the Spyder in - any suggestions?

Go here: https://epc.brp.com/ and look up the part number for the frunk lid. Do a search on the part number. I replaced over 20 parts on a damaged 2014 RSS with both new and used parts using this method.

Any tips on the process of replacing the Old/malfunctioning ECM on a 2010 RS with a New ECM?

Yes, my thinking is that the DESS is indeed a separate entity, so if you are using your existing keys and DESS unaltered it might work. But one test is worth a thousand guesses.

From the 2010 service manual - yellow/pink to the ECM.

Any tips on the process of replacing the Old/malfunctioning ECM on a 2010 RS with a New ECM?

Why do you say that the salvage ECM cannot be tied to your existing DESS module? (I don't know if it can or can't.) Is there a way to set a DESS module to programming mode using BUDS?

RTS 2015 won’t start after installing new gauges/dash unit - any ideas?

If they have what Can Am calls an "All Dealer License" for BUDS they should have the capability to help you; if they will is another question.

Any tips on the process of replacing the Old/malfunctioning ECM on a 2010 RS with a New ECM?

In a later manual (2014) there are several pages of instructions:

Any tips on the process of replacing the Old/malfunctioning ECM on a 2010 RS with a New ECM?

The Service Manual gives detailed instructions for doing this. Do you have one?

RTS 2015 won’t start after installing new gauges/dash unit - any ideas?

From my 2014 service manual: Multifunction Gauge Replacement NOTE: If the multifunction gauge is replaced, the engine may not start because of the security exchange coding. The gauge must be matched to the ECM for the vehicle to start. Connect vehicle to B.U.D.S. Refer to COMMUNICATION TOOLS...
