• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Two brothers exhaust and a few bits

Thanks, I may need to try that as it really is a bit loud. It is going to attract way too much attention from law enforcement! Brutal.

Two brothers exhaust and a few bits

Its just a generic motorcycle part I found for £20 (so about $28) http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/74260

Two brothers exhaust and a few bits

Had the two brothers can fitted (cat delete) and wow it's loud!! I like loud but this is the limit I think. Not for the faint hearted. Also had the Baja ron sway bar fitted, sticker delete, rear seat cowl and a new rear indicators/plate holder. Lamonster mirror relocator and front indicators...

    Triple Black is home

Are those front fenders options or standard in your country? I much prefer them to the ones I got on mine.

    DYNO fail.... help needed!!

Someone told me that on the f3 SE6 the rear wheel speed sensor was in the gearbox and you couldn't trick the wheel sensors like this as they don't trigger at the same rate. Anyone know if that's true?

    Gearing

Does anyone know if you need to update/replace the ecu/traction if you change from U.K. to U.S. gearing? I'm guessing yes but if anyone knows for sure that would be appreciated. I understand it is a cruiser but 1st gearing going from 0-58mph is insane on such a low performance engine. The...

    DYNO fail.... help needed!!

"Roller bench mode". Anybody know of a system that allows you to plug in and set that mode so I can play on the dyno?

    Belt Drive

Yes, fair point. Providing I keep diameter similar then the chain drive doesn't matter. Speaking of which, does anyone know of an off the shelf canam chain conversion kit? Any advice on a starting point would be great.

    Belt Drive

True. Have you heard of anyone totally disabling the traction/stability/ABS? Did it work?

    Belt Drive

Well yes, but this opens a whole pandoras box of decisions... They key issue is that on the Can Am the Traction/Stability/ABS is an integrated, very sensitive system that has a default setting of Limp Mode. If any parameter is outside of an expected set of pre planned values, then its all over...

    Belt Drive

Well, not sure how well this will go down here (albeit this forum seems the most polite and kind spirited of any I have been on)....but I was looking at a swing arm stretch. Purely for cosmetic reasons. I can't justify it beyond I think it looks cool. However the chain drive method isn't my...

    Belt Drive

Thanks - so many choices in there so Ill give them a call and see if they can do something that works here. :2thumbs:

    Belt Drive

Has anyone heard of a manufacturer of a longer rear drive belt? I appreciate the issues around the OEM manufacturer being locked in to BRP and therefore not dealing with the public. Equally, I appreciate the belt is already monumentally long as it is. But knowing nothing about belt manufacture...

    New Wheels

Oops. Great spot :). That would have been a school boy error to have based all the calcs off the wrong original tire size!! I'll redo them with the correct tire sizes. Thanks again.

    New Wheels

Hi - first just wanted to say hello. I just got an F3-S Triple Black (SE6) and have been scouring this forum for lots of useful information. I had a question and I wanted to ask whether anyone had done this or foresees any problems....I want to change the front wheels to a slightly wider and...
