• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

High Mount Brake Light

Custom Dynamics IMHO is the very best, made for the RT Spyder, and the safest with modulation while you are stopped and foot on the brake. I have had them on both my Spyders.

This is a perfect example of what happens when someone uses the title of a messa

They are a sponsor look on the home page.
You could have told him who the sponsor is.
ge as part of what should really be the body of the message. It often doesn't make much sense - especially once the message is quoted. Also, it drives many members nuts, as they read down the messages within a thread without necessarily paying much attention to the individual message titles.

Nothing personal ...just my opinion.

You want custom dynamic, it looks like it came with the bike! Easy installation, plug and use!
:agree: When I look at mine, I have a hard time remembering that it was a farkle, rather than part of the original bike. It just looks like it always belonged there. ;)

TricLEDs also has one...
I've put their other two brakelights, on both of my bikes, and really have been happy with the results...

It is the modulation/flashing while stopped with brake pedal engaged that sets the Custom Dynamics heads above the rest. Something about a bright flashing red light that gets peoples attention. There are many different patterns of flashing that can be dialed in with a small knob.

It is definitely the flashing that makes it a safer brake light.

If nothing else, if a car/truck approaches from behind pump your brakes until you see them slowing and stopping. That's what we used to do before all the fancy technology came along.

If you are going to get hurt on a M/C or ? it will be getting hit from behind or some one making a left turn in front of you. These two top the list.

Jack, you are correct, however it does not always save you. In 2001, I was at a stop light with my feet on the ground on my 1995 GW 1500. I had the flashing stop light. I saw this pickup coming several hundred feet back and figured he would stop. I was watching the light to change. He did not stop. I have the stop lights on both my GW 1800 and Spyder. It is safer for sure, but as we know, not fool(s) proof.

FYI: He was a 21 YO with a 20 YO girl with him and did not apply his brakes....Knocked the Wing 20' and me 30'. I was solo but had I had a passenger, they would not have done well. It pushed the trunk against my backrest and jammed the drive shaft into the transmission case. They had to tow the pickup away with bent front axel. I only had six ribs broken and road rash....I was 1/2 mile from home and the policeman took my helmet to my home and told my wife that I was on my way to the hospital. With three huge gashes in my helmet, he told her I would not be here without the helmet and protective gear.

Another vote here for the Custom Dynamics trunk/brake light. Have put them on all three of my RT's. The last two were installed before I drove the RT's off the lot.

The HMT's might not help with all idiots. Once you make something idiot proof, you will find out how amazingly resourceful idiots are...

I do like my HMT and any added level of protection is good, even if not perfect.

Bob's gonna hate me but what's done is done. Spent $40 Canadian on this set of lights. Didn't break the bank though. Followed his video (very helpful) and after 3 hours of planning and fishing wires all done. Very bright lights! Rainy day here so may as well work on the bike. uploadfromtaptalk1435443630137.jpguploadfromtaptalk1435443646649.jpg
Bought lights from Parts Source.

Make up your own with some LED's of your choice. Finless provides a nice install video on how to do it. Not done with mine yet, but I saved $175 buying LEDs off the shelf. Can't see spending that kind of money on lights. To each his own though:thumbup:
