New Engine Noise

Our F3 has developed a metalic "clinking" noise when accelerating from a dead stop. It happens at normal acceleration speed. You do not hear it if you slowly accelerated from a stop. You do not hear it at any other time. I can slow to a roll and accelerate and not hear it. Anything anyone else has experienced?

Don't know what you have, but my F3 is a SM6. Hear a clinking noise in neutral, but not in gear.

Chris it is probably something you left loose one of the many times you had the bike apart lol.....

Can't take credit for this one Hal although I look around for something loose. It is coming from up high on the engine. Almost sounds like it is under the gage pod.
