• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What does your rpm register at the startup, mine will run up to 2000 and more but quickly drops to 900 to a 1000

Let's see..!!

2012 RS sm5 starts at about 700 rpm's running up to 1350/1400 rpm's Quickly. Make sure you don't touch the throttle when starting or might check vacuum lines.

And the profile says....

he has a 2013 ST. The RT 2014/15 and the F3 2015 do idle lower and probably start up differently. We need to remember to state what model and year spyder we are asking about. Especially now that there are different engine, transmissions and cooling systems etc...:lecturef_smilie:

I guess I should have checked the profile. If was posted under F3 so I thought it was F3.

You could be right. ..takes folks a while to update just trying to warn about the two engine types...

I'm guessing he probably has the F3 as the engine on them does seem to race up then drop back down when you first start it. I haven't experienced that with any other model or year.
