• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fuel instrument cluster and moisture.

I have a Spyder RS SE5 2010, moisture got into the display and I wasn't too worried about it till it shut the display off fully, once I let the humidity dry out most of the display came back BUT THE FUEL GAUGE! Of all things to lose I'd rather lose something else OTHER than the fuel gauge. Any suggestions on how to make that portion come back? I really don't have the money to pay for a new cluster ($724 bucks) and 2 hours labor ($220).

Suggestions?

How did you dry it out? Maybe it is not dried out completely? Did you fix the cause for the leak?

Ignore the gas gauge and use the trip meter.

Labour to change out the gauge cluster should be 1/2 hour not 2.

disconnect one lead to the gauge and your fuel will show up as a ladder bar on the digital read out

Bummer..!!

seems to have happened a lot. Pulling the cluster takes 2 minutes. You can change the lens or reseal the exsisting one to avoid this happening. While off the spyder place it in a sunny spot and see if it dries out the rest of the way. Many clusters were changed on warranty, worth a check but if in the end you change the cluster you loose your mileage...

I dried it out by simply letting it dry in the bright sun.

What do you mean pull the connector?

Does anyone have the break down or the manual on how to disassemble and remove the gauges?
