• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

is the Blue Lake Casino the main location for events, dinners etc.
would like to stay in lodgings that have most the activity.
We are coming from BC, Canada for first time at event and any info help greatly appreciated!

Yes, everything will be at the casino. We already have 150 registered. Six from BC. :)

FYI the Blue Lake Casino is booked solid. They did make arrangements for reduced lodging costs at the Red Lion Hotel in Eureka; so I grabbed a room there.

I checked four other hotels in Arcata and none were as cheap as the deal at the Red Lion Hotel in Eureka.

If you know of a good deal in Arcata, I am all ears.

And it is only 16 miles from Eureka to the casino.

No, I'm sorry, I don't. I'm glad that the Red Lion hooked you up. They have always done good for us during the rally. It is just a short 20 min ride to Blue Lake from there.
