• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sway bar on 2015 RT

Anyone change the sway bar on their 2015 RT to the BajaRon sway bar? Has BRP made any improvements on their stock bar? If you did change it on your 2015, please share your thoughts and experiences. Happy Easter, everyone!

Just saying....

The BajaRon swaybar and hiem joints will make a difference even on the 2015. How much will depend on how you ryde and how much you think you need it. The oem is fine for normal passive ryding. Now if you feel you are being pushed around (the roadster not you) in the wind and passing on the freeways this will help eliminate that. If you feel squishy in the turns on twisty roads it will help that. How much will depend on how much you push in the turns or how fast you fly down a parkway. Regardless it will help your ryde and I recommend it...

Put the Baja Ron Sway bar and links on it will make your ride even better than it is now..

I have a 2014 RT and finally got to ride it after the long winter and cannot be happier. The 2015 is the same platform at the 2014's

What Chupaca said! My '14 RT tracks like an arrow in all kinds of otherwise upsetting wind situations. Only down side is it can bring out the hooligan in some of us in the twisties.

Probably not necessary on the 2014-15 unless you ride two up a lot or if you are an extremely aggressive rider. In 2014 a completely different front end suspension and steering ratio for power steering was used. 2014-15 handles completely different than previous models because of these changes. Yes the bar is a little stiffer or larger in diameter. It is mainly the newly engineered front end that produces the steering feel. It is stiffer!

I have to agree.
I added the RonBar to my 2010 RTS. What a remarkable difference. An ESSENTIAL upgrade for the 2010 to 2012 RT's. I don't know about the 2013.

The first thing I did when I got my 2014 was trash it on all the back roads near my house.
Stock out of the crate it handled far better than my 2010 with the RonBar.
I haven't found the upgrade necessary for my 2014.
I did, however, get the RonLinks for peace of mind. They are clearly more reliable than the plastic OEM links, but they don't affect the ride.

Just my opinion. I could be wrong

I have a 2014 that I put about 2000 miles on before putting on Ron's sway bar. I did notice a significant difference. Most of our riding is 2 up but we are not large people. I am happy I made the change. I had no previous experience with an earlier model year to compare. The 2014 and 15 model is probably better but I did find that it wallowed more than I liked when cornering. The new sway bar took that feeling away.
