• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Blue Light Under My Spyder?

Just got back from riding to a meeting. When I turned the Spyder off, there was a blue light coming from under it, seemed like a L.E.D.? What is it and how do I turn it off? Don't remember reading about it in the manual or the "does and don'ts". Any ideas? (I know I didn't leave the key in the ignition because it's in my pocket.) It's been a couple of hours and it's still on! Seems weird to me...Thanks in advance for any ideas.

:dontknow:

there should not be a blue led under the bike. what year and model is the bike, and did you buy it new or used. also if it is used the last owner might of installed some led's on the bike so check under it. also add the year and model of you bike to your signature so if you ever ask another question people know what to help you with

Someone has stuck a battery-powered blue LED up under your bike...
BRP puts nothing on the bike that would emit that color...

Did you see any drones or government types around your :ani29:? :roflblack:

Blue light is nothing standard that I am aware of.

Got a picture

Now I see it! Definitely some sort of added light. I think. Maybe.

Thanks for all the comments, music, and request for a signature. I will work on that now, as it is raining and my oil change will wait for dry weather.:) (No garage.)

Yup, that is not OEM equipment.

Previous owner must have added some LEDs. Surprised they didn't tell you about that when you bought it from them.

Better find the switch, in WA its illegal to be moving with any blue light, no reds can be seen from the front and no whites seen from the back.

I couldn't see the light until I rode at night. Hopefully I can get 'em off before the next night ride.

Seriously; finding the switch for those babies will have more to do with keeping your battery from being drained...
I'd call the shop or prior owner... Happy Hunting!
(And here I was thinking that this was a late April Fools joke... :opps:)
