• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just wanted to introduce myself. I just posted in the contest thread :ohyea:

Anyway, I just bought my 08 SE5 last saturday (Demo w/184 miles on it. I have my learners and I am going this saturday to take the driving test on the spyder...wish me luck (any suggestions out there?) I think its going to be pretty simple on this thing.

So many things I want to do, but cant figure out what to do first. Since I just bought this, the wife will go crazy if I do them all at once :lecturef_smilie:

I want new wheels, i want to paint it, and I want exhaust.

I'm thinking about the Hindle, and maybe just getting vinyl like this until i decide on what color to paint it.

Congrats on your new Spyder Donk45 :thumbup: Welcome to SpyderLovers also. :ohyea:

welcome my first visit would be with no magic neon because he has got some lights on their that i believe will make you more visible to others and also make the bike look good. Like the fender tipz, the tail brake light, the triple play you also might like the risers he has. check out his website. safety before comfort. oh and also ask about the led front turn signals they are much brighter than the oem. good luck with your test. :ohyea:

Welcome

welcome If I were you, I wouldn't spend any money on decals, I'd put it away and save it for your paint job. But then maybe your doing it yourself. Drive safe, I just got my license but in PA though the MSF we couldn't use ours, you had to use one of their Suzuki 250. They said, "if you want to use your own bike there was a ton of paperwork to fill out". I'd like to know how and what your test was and the things they made you do. Congrats again and drive safe.:clap::clap::2thumbs: :congrats::yes::yes::firstplace:

:congrats::congrats::spyder2::yes:

Go see Evan @NMN. You can never have too much Light!

Then get a Hindle, then u are set . Welcome

welcome:congrats: I'll add to the exhaust (and I think the exhaust is the most important thing) but after that get Magic Man's risers - you can ride alot longer w/ them!:2thumbs::doorag:

Welcome, Donk!

("That's not a knife. THAT'S a knife!")

Seriously, if your wife is ryding with you, I'd say throw your money at a backrest (BRP's is whose we have which is pricey but she likes very much. There are several other aftermarket ones) before any other purchase.

Good luck and enjoy! welcome
