Any reviews/opinions on the new Can-Am Freedom trailer?

Hello,
I am looking for a trailer to tow behind my 2014 RT-s.
Does anyone have any opinions or reviews of the Can-Am Freedom Trailer?
I wanted a RT-622 but cannot find one in California.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you

David, I saw one at the Motorcycle Show in Long Beach. It is a lot smaller and only has one door. I think that with the single door you would have trouble getting stuff in and out of the nose of the trailer. It doesn't look quite as solid as the RT-622 but that's just my opinion. Have you searched for any used RT-622s?

Its hard to believe there is anything you cant find in so cal lol. You cant get a dealer to order you one? or you mean a used one specifically?

Thanks

New ones are not available unless a dealer happens to have one in stock. RT-622 discontinued

Another option

Hi I saw on facebook today Pierre of Spyder TV has a new trailer he is selling and it looks nice. Don't know what he asking price wise though. He is on Spyderlovers

You might want to take a look at Mini Trailers, they are spyderlovers sponsor. I have one and really like it. Last September I took it on a 3000 trip and could not tell I was towing it.

I would really prefer to find one in Southern California or the Las Vegas, Bullhead City area to avoid the heavy shipping costs.
Shipping cost? :hun:

Going to pick up a trailer is one of the best possible excuses you could possibly come up with to make a 500 mile trip, isn't it? You want to go get it, not have it shipped don't you? I sure would!!

I saw one at a local motorcycle show and they look cheap.
I like the RT622 a lot better.
I would buy after market.

Mini Trailer

I have looked very closely at these (in person even!:)) spoke with the owner and a salesman. They offered me a tour of the facility. I was very impressed with their product and professionalism.

I will be getting one early April.

IMHO, there are a lot of better choices than either CanAm trailer - you can buy a tent trailer with lots of storage for the same price, or even a bit less. However, if you really want a 622, my dealer has 3 left - 2013/2014, and all at the same $3500 price. Clawson Motorsports in Fresno also has a used 622 for the same price.

USA MiniTrailer

As some have previously mentioned. The site sponser USA MiniTrailers is a great outfit, making well built, all american made trailers. I purchased the Shadow model for my 2012 RT and now tow it (freshly repainted) behind my 2014 RT. Very well built of steel (frame) and aluminum(body). Aluminum mag wheels come standard as do other things you would pay extra for. Towing it, I don't even know its back there. It tracks perfectly and does not sway even with high cross winds. Very well balanced. Load it up and tongue weights less than 25 lbs. Best of all, I paid about $1350 for mine including the shipping. May be a bit higher by now though. Check out their site.

What size do you have? I'm trying to decide on a trailer, too. I'm hoping to do a lot of miles next year when I retire and am thinking about camping along the way.
