HAS ANYONE GOTTEN "THE LETTER"?

Just wondering if anyone has gotten the recall letter from BRP that was supposed to be received (according to the NHTSA) in February 2015. I have not received one, and if I am not mistaken today's date is March 6, 2015

Here is the reply I got from an email to BRP.....


3. The recall for the 2013 Spyder RT is quite new. You may not have received the information at this point in the mail. Once again, I would confirm the address above is correct and respond if it is not. That being said, you do not need a letter for the recall to have it addressed. Simply call or visit your local BRP dealer and they will be able to run your VIN in our system and see any recalls on the unit that require attention.

Nothing yet.......Talked to Dealer last week asking him if he knew what was going to be done to the machines and he said it is not disclosed at this time.

The pending recall for the 2013 RT's came out of the NHSTA investigation, but that is not to say that other models and years will not also be addressed in upcoming months. My guess is that they are starting with the 2013 RT since this is the model with the most serious complaints.
