• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Why was thread yanked?

If there was no problem with the 2013 then why is there ANOTHER recall happening? I am sure BRP really wants to waste shareholders money. But here we are again :banghead:
Dave,

I see your point and somewhat agree with it. I too wish that the problem never existed, and/or that BRP would have attacked it sooner. However, ANOTHER recall on the 2013 RT is a GOOD thing, isn't it? And I believe that there will be more before the year is over - when the "investigation" is complete and BRP knows where they are going from there.

FWIW, I also appreciate your keeping all of us up to date on the progress.

I learned early on that there are sacred cows on here that are off limits; they must be bowed down to.
Wylie...
There's only one sacred cow in here. You never just where or when he's going to turn up?!!

Ooooooooooooooooo, did not think about that. No hitch, no 622, can't lift heavy loads, hope they don't put me on another list.:bowdown::yikes:

There's a better way now...
An ATV riding buddy of mine in Utah just sent me info about a car shredder that looks promising... :D
They say that it can even shred an engine block!!

Drew's a mystery man and Snoopy doesn't ride far enough to heat up his engine.

Both of y'all are are :cus: stirrers.

Y'all trying to get a jolly???

I'm curious as to why some folks will join a Social Forum like this; only to try and act Anti-Social? :dontknow:

Bob you are correct. This does seem to be only a "social" forum.
Some of us are not looking for companionship on the internet. We are more interested in tech info.
Did you run out of other threads to serial post on? Do you need a hug?

I've noticed that you (also) actually bring very little technical information to the discussions.
I'm also guilty of that; but I lack the technical skills, while you revel in telling us all about yours...

...while offering none of the proof!

At least I usually try to find something that's either humorous, or positive to post about... :D

Just a reminder here Dennis, this thread is about the 2013 RT, RTS and RT Limited.

Glad you like and enjoy your 2013
ST.

We have a good friend whose 2013 burst into flames on the Hiway and totally burned to the ground. Luckily she got off without serious injuries. I no longer wanted to expose my wife to this danger ( we had severe gas fumes all the time). After working with BRP on several fixes I really saw no solution to this in the near future. Traded for a 2014 which we love but it did cost a lot. What is your or your wife's life worth. That was the question.

There are good Spyders out there but not when the temps reach 90-120 degrees and you are driving a 2013 RT.

Jack

wow...I have the same problems with my ST. SOOOOO SORRY.....

I'm out of here........I'll just become a reader

Haha...you have a short memory. I deleted most of my contributions awhile ago, and reserve the right to share info that maybe I don't want to share. Unlike others that vomit "what they have heard" info......but anyway. Its a social forum and I need to stay in hiding, remember? [emoji23] I have absolutely nothing to prove to anyone and honestly could care even less.

Now, It used to bother me a bit posting useless banter, serial posting like you and some others do. However, now that you've let me know that it's a "social" forum, I'm much more at ease with useless contributions. Thanks Bob!![emoji106]

What can we talk about next?![emoji38]
