• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Spyder home finally!!!

Well, I finally picked her up yesterday. Rode 30 miles home, and the minute I pulled in, the neighbors came over to gawk. :)

I will need a tall windshield certainly... That's the first mod/purchase.

I also don't like the limited visibility from the rear... Going to add the givi case brake light and the NNM lights all around.

Still wish there was a hand brake... Just too used to it.

As for the Givi's ... I have the SY-MAX II HJC and it won't fit in then at all... I thought the v35's were supposed to fit full face helmets. - I'm going to try again, as I only tried it half -*ss'd last night.

:congrats: dan let us know how you make out with the helmet.
It should fit in the front compartment?

Yes, it fits easy up there. I'm hoping that due to the wife's head being smaller, her's will fit in the side...

I could always rig up some sort of D ring lock for the Spyder and lock them both to the givi rails or something on occasion when needed.

Those are the BRP touring bags that are designed by Givi, right??

Look sharp. Me likey!!!

Those are the actual Givi's. BRP only offers the sides, not the top, and at the time I pulled the trigger on the purchase, the BRP's were on backorder. I think these worked out to be about the same price if not a tad cheaper than the BRP's.

:congrats: You have just became an instant celebrity. Enjoy it! Ryde safe.

Nice Spyder you got there!!

I really like the Givi set-up. It makes the Spyder into a touring rig. It definitely needs a bigger windshield or a fairing for distance riding though.

V35 cases and Helmets

You might squeeze a small or perhaps a medium full-face helmet into a V35, but I guarantee you will not be able to fit anything larger in.
