• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hendrix Has Nothing On This Guy

This is the video I was looking for when I posted that all star blues video.

My favorite guitar player of all time.

Back In the day I won some concert tickets from a radio station and had a choice between Clapton and SRV. At the time I hadn't heard much of SRV so in respect for the master I picked Clapton. Less than a year later ( after hearing lots more of him) Stevie was gone. I regret the lost opportunity.

In Comparison...

Just my opinion, but I think that Stevie was faster and cleaner...

But BOTH are Kick-Butt music!!! :2thumbs: :yes::yes::yes:

Maybe so but the state of the art in equipment back in Hendrix's day was nothing like what SRV had at his disposal. Every pioneer can be bested eventually but being a pioneer DOES count. :thumbup:

I would agree with you... ;)
But Stevie's was a live performance, while Jimi had the benefit of the studio with his... :D
As I said; they both ROCK!! :2thumbs:
