I had to struggle to remount my Givi side bags until I noticed that the dealership had mounted the striker plates on the rack upside down. Five minutes with a 5mm allen wrench solved the problem. Now they mount with a slick click. The recess needs to be on the underside. When I phoned the dealer, he admitted that they had been sending them all out of the shop wrong. I told him that they are liable to have customers seeing their bags bouncing down the highway.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's easy enough to check out. Just remove the side bag. If the recess is on top, it's wrong. If you feel for the striker bolt on the bag with your finger, you will see why.
I know mine are on right because Givi racks come with latches attached. I was just wondering if it was the I7 racks so that owners will know to check that style since those latches have to be attached by owner/dealer.

I'm wondering about the BRP racks also. The posts I've seen are all wonderfully obscure as to whether the bags only or the bags and the rack are quick-release.
I only see running with the Givi's when doing my long-distance trips, not around town.
