• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a HJC IS MAX. I was thinking of getting the chatter box that was made to fit right with the helmet but many of the reviews people were posting on Amazon were not to good.

Well..!!

just to add fuel to the fire...we use the cardo scala rider G9 and are very pleased with them. Has FM radio, intercom, hooks up to phone, gps, mp3 player and 8 other riders. But then it depends on how much you really need...:thumbup:i

Sena SMH10 and SMH-A0303 headset

Sena SMH10.....but I purchased the main module and the SMH-A0303 so I can use earbuds instead on the waffle helmet speakers. It's like surround sound when I'm riding. Also keeps the wind noise out my ears.

Us Toooooo

Sena set is great. Check with Motorcycle Dave.

I don't know Motorcycle Dave, but we DO have the SMH-10 system and are pretty happy with them. Just know that with the standard speakers, when you exceed about 60 - 65 MPH, the wind noise will overpower the speakers. I have heard this from other owners as well, not all on Spyders. Other than that we like them. They link up easily with GPS and other users.

More fuel..have the Cardo Scala G4 and have too many problem connecting. Bought two new Bell helmets that is designed to hold the Sena SMH10.... Love it and more features.

Sena smh10's no doubt. Had cardos and like others problems staying connected. Sena's are great!:2thumbs:

uclear

My wife and I use the Uclear system, it wasn't cheap, but it works ...at all speeds with everything always

Motorcycle Dave is a Site Sponsor

Main difference is On our Sena 10 set the volume all the way up is way too loud, I always ran the Scala and another off brand at full volume and it wasn't enough at freeways speeds.

I've been quite pleased with my Sena SMH10 from Motorcycle Dave. I am hard of hearing and wear ear plugs on any but short local rides and the volume of the SMH10 is very good on intercom mode as well as Spyder radio. At interstate speeds radio music is acceptable background sound. YMMV.
