Here's the pairing instruction I received after talking with the SENA Tech Service Rep. I hope that helps you...if not, you can call them at 866-300-1235 (I think they're in California so time your call to them accordingly). When I called, waited about 10 -15 minutes...once Tech got on the phone, extremely helpful and well worth the wait.
Good luck!
Yes, I read that from your earlier post. The thing that bothers me is the instruction to delete earlier parings.
I decided to start a new thread since the other one was getting off topic.
I called SENA about my particular problem and got a response.
The SPH10 units that we have can continue to be paired to each other for bike to bike communication but since we leave them on full time there will be a problem. We have found we can ride for a full day without losing battery power and can enjoy instant communication by leaving the units connected full time.
Once we install the SM10 transmitter in order to pipe music into our helmet headsets (we need two of these because she is a classical music listener, while I am rock and roll), we will need to pair the SM10's to the head sets. Once we do this we will lose the instant bike-to-bike communication we have enjoyed.
I was not aware of this and had I been, I probably would not have gone to the trouble of buying the SM10's and getting the cables to hook them up.
My wife has one arm that is paralyzed and cannot reach up to the helmet control to push the on/off switch so if she is going to have music she will not have the intercom connection. Only the SM20 units have the capability of muting the music for instant voice transmission. Unfortunately the SM20 will not fit the type of helmets we use.
So once again it pays to ask ALL the questions up front.
