I use a 5-gal bucket turned upside down.
I love the BRP stand and we have them on both of our trailers.... BUT.
The release buttons that allow the stand to swing away and release from the trailer hitch bar are very hard to work. Buttons on both sides have to be fully pushed in simultaneously to release the bar and trying to do that while pulling the stand out at the same time as you are lifting the trailer hitch off of the ball requires a minimum of three appendages. Unfortunately I have only two that work well and usually when I am unhitching the trailers my wife is nowhere to be found.
The same is true when trying to connect the trailer although it is a bit easer because you can rest the trailer hitch on the Spyder while you try to pull the stand away from the hitch bar.
I think this is a bit over engineered as one button would have been sufficient.

I have the BRP stand and verrrry seldom use it as it is a 2 man operation and most times I'm missing the second man!!! :roflblack: Sooo don't use and would put good set of chocks(found rocks scarce..)as a priority over the stand...

You can't live with them and you can't live with them!
+100
That's what I used even on my 3000 lb boat when it's stand broke!
5 gal bucket is cheap and lasts forever
