• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Saw this guy bouncing at Patrick AFB. He was out there doing touch and goes for at least an hour. These were taken on my phone from the car so, y'know...

I see 'em down here three or four times a year. Sometimes they just come in, land, and sit for awhile. Sometimes they bounce. I've seen 'em here when the President's in Florida (though not at Patrick) and I've seen 'em when the President's nowhere near here.

It always stirs people up when they show up, though.

Not cheap..!!

good thing the price of fuel is going down..them bouncing around is costing us a bundle...that thing gets lousy mileage...you think a spyder is poor on gas..:yikes:

Hey that's where I was born, I think they were doing touch and goes that day too.

Yep. They have to keep current too. FYI- It's only designated Air Force One when the president is on board. Otherwise it's designated by tail number. And there are two of them.

Hi Gene,

Re: Not cheap..!!

Last year PBS did a mini-series called 'Carrier.' Now that thing burns fuel,

Patrick AFB was our last Army post before Joe retired. The Air Force sure knows how to pick nice real estate and it was nice that they let us Army folks share a little piece of their paradise.
