• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

spicy is good but death by hot peppers is long gone for me. my fathers father once killed his pet bird from cooking hot peppers and potatoes and the poor bird couldn't breath because of it, but they were delicous

I've been gnawing on their Habanero, Ghost and Scorpion-flavored Jerkies for about four Months. They ALL have had GREAT flavors, and seem like a nice, high quality product. nojoke
Please let us know what you think of it; good luck!!
(I'm in uncharted waters also...)

Ya know doctors say eating hot peppers increases metabolism. If I ate one of those I bet I'd loose a lot of weight. The hottest I've eaten raw was the scotch bonnet. I paid for that dearly.

The Scotch Bonnet is pretty similar to the Habanero. VERY tasty! :2thumbs:
I ate almost an entire half-pound of Habanero Jerky in one day last Month... ;)

Good luck..!!

Won't put a candle out for you you'll melt it to the ground with your breath...:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: mum's the word...

Looking up about these peppers, they were developed and are grown here in SC. At the PuckerButt Pepper Company (I LOVE that name!!!) in Fort Mill, SC.

That's right: homegrown flamethrowers!! :2thumbs:

Rob,
Don't worry about this old boy; I've got asbestos shielding in some pretty embarrassing places!! :D
There'll be no screaming; maybe just a little bit of cussing! :roflblack:

Well. Do everyone a favor. Make sure all the pilot lights are off in your house.

"The Reaper", has landed...

This stuff has some of the nicest, sweetest flavor that I've ever tasted in a jerky! :2thumbs:
But...
The Carolina Reaper DOES get your undivided attention!
The bite comes in about fifteen seconds after that delicious sweet flavor is making you wonder just how tough this ESSOBEE can actually be...

It is...
WAY tougher than the Moruga Scorpion, the Bhut Jolokia; the Habanero isn't even in the same ballpark... :yikes:

But it's awful damn good!

In smaller doses! :D
