• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Speaker Mounted ACC Plug

Need some help / advice on mounting the BRP Accessory Plug in the Speaker Grill, If I mount the pug over the speaker it will almost touch the speaker however if I move it further out it is to long and will not fit. How did you mount the ACC Plug? picture would help.

Thanks finless,
I have the grill off but it looks like the plug will sit right on the speaker. A little over to the left of the left side speaker is a hollow area that I have no idea in what is behind it that I thought about drilling out a 2" plug. Parts manual is not clear on description. Most likely will go with the flow. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip finless, perfect fit as you suggested however I used a keyhole saw was just the right size only problem I did not expect that plastic to melt so quickly. :yikes:

Yes even with a dremel and a barrel sander on it, it melted quite easily if your not careful.

Another option

My power out is mounted in a blank where a gauge could be installed. It is handy there to power my radar detector and looks like it came there. It's powered by the gauge power supply directly behind it with quick disconnects. Consider it.

Thanks but got it mounted in the Speaker Grill, need to save the gas gauge location for an upgrade to digital multi display gauge. (soon I hope)

It's to late now but a 12 volt Powerlet outlet is smaller then standard 12 volt outlet. They also sell cables for connecting GPS other devises etc. Only requires A 5/8 dia. hole and about half the length.
