• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well since none of us could knock Lamont to the other side of the fence about holding a bbq I have decided that this matter will be taken over by SL members. I have enlisted the help of my 2 friends who are navy seals.

Their main job will be to secure the perimeter, Lamont, all his bikes and ofcourse, the racoons. Since this is a big task, I need help from members who will take care of DRINKS, food, entertainment, crowd control, parking, tent sites in Lamonts back yard and parts & service for broken down riders.

This could be an annual takeover depending on the success and participation.:popcorn::doorag::shemademe_smilie:

Where and when's this going on? I'm in Vancouver from kitimat on a stop over on my way to Sacramento. I wouldn't mind stopping in although the bikes at home this time I would love a trip up next year for the event.

this actually is an event out in Gatlinburg, TN.....you live in Kitimat?
 
What is the date for the BBQ? The original posting mentioned "the Gatlinburg Event" but I'm not sure exactly what event that is. Seems like Gatlinburg has LOTS of events...LOL

Lamont can correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think there will be any alcohol at this BBQ. So you won't have any worries.:ohyea:
 
One drink and you will never make it out of his driveway..just wait..lol. Also, I don't mind organizing a ride over from Gatlinburg, the ride I took last time I still dream about..52 sound about right Lamont, can't remember. The rode that ends at the coffee shop. Just be sure to stay at least 3 car lengths back this time..lol.
Anyway, good to be safe as it is a long ride back from his house and the cave gets really dark and spokey.

I'll post some maps when we get closer to the event. There's several ways to get back.

I well try to make it to only nead address and state town for gps and Im on my way love the ride my friends ..... back is fussed and doing good am up and on my spyder waxing her and geting her ready for sc mb,may 8 threw 17th
then Laconia nh then gt ready for stirgise for ne and my wife:thumbup:
