Kuhmo Tires on F3 ???

This article says the new F3 has Kuhmo Tires.

Is this true?

Being, (probably) the 1st person to have a KUMHO on a SPYD3R, my '09 RS/SE5... i can only say: IT'S ABOUT TIME.... if in fact this article state the true...

All of the high res pictures I have in my now sizeable collection of F3 beauty (!)
are fitted with Kendas.
Had Kumho arrived on the scene I think that Lamont and Len and a couple of other
very experienced riders would have commented.
Kumho.....Kenda both begin with K and thus I think this is a
journalistic error.

:agree: Based on the pictures with the article those tires are Kenda's.

According to the spec sheet the RT just shows the tire size ,on the F3 there is a KR in front on the size so possible different tire.

don't know how many of the wheeled vehicles brp makes use Kendas but imagine more than just the spyders. They are not likely to change and Kenda will do what they need to to keep supplying brp...from what I see they are Kendas..!! they have been good to me..:2thumbs:

I looked it up...seems that a KR21 is a Kumho Solas.

I did not see any Kumho tires on the demo bikes at Daytona

While there is a Kumho KR21 tyre, Solus, which is what I would call a family car type
judging by the tread pattern, there is no Kumho KR31...so once again I think that coincidence
has played a part in this. Who knows?
There is no way that BRP would fit a car tire to a Spyder and its most unlikely that they have
asked Kumho to supply a tyre for just one model. Just my tuppence worth!

i researched KENDA tires awhile back... and KENDA is predominatly a tire manufacturer for light vehicles such as, golf carts, lawn tractors and such... however, i have KENDA's on my TUNDRA, and they are nice and quiet, give a smooth ride, and so far look like they are wearing very slowly... unlike on our SPYD3Rs.....
