Has anyone replaced the rear indicators on a Spyder RS with an after market product? Did Nanny get upset or was everything ok?
I was fitting a Givi panner fittng system on my Spyder and you need to relocate the indicators. When I was removing one of them from the mounting I managed to shear off the mounting bolt :-( Though in my defence the metal was so soft that there are cheeses that have better tensile strength.
So firstly I've got to get a replacement indicator and knowing my luck it will be out-of-stock or I'll break it as well. Secondly with the Givi kit on the indicators are relocated onto the rear mud guard and to be honest that looks ugly with the standard indicators. It also will probably increase the likelihood of the cracking struts issue. I'd like to change the arrangement as well.
