Your right, probably better to have something they have to balance on while they are learning to ride. That BS about high siding being the only way to seriously injure or kill yourself is uneducated non-sense. Two, Three, four wheels, or a track makes no difference. If you don't learn how to ride you will get hurt. Adequate parental supervision, riding education from someone whom actually knows, and starting small (working your way up) are the best ways to avoid tragedy. Two wheels can definitely kill and or mangle just as easily. Flat Landings equal broken backs. I have a friend whom is stationed in Alaska, and her husband was honorably discharged earlier this year. Less than 5 weeks after his discharge he had a dirt bike accident and was paralyzed from the neck down. I have a scar on the inside of my thigh where I low sided in a cornfield and nearly severed my femoral artery.
In short, next time keep your un-educated and ignorant opinions to yourself.
