• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My next road cruiser.....

I may be wrong on this but I heard the problem with a 4 wheeled bike was how to register them. They can't be registered as a bike as they have more than 3 wheels, and have to be registered as a car. with car safety items, seat belts, airbags, etc. I know of a least 2 companys that have had prototypes that never went into production because of this. I like to know how they get around this. I see on there specs and price page they show installion on a stock GL 1800 only, which would be a 3 wheeler.

I'd heard the same thing about quads, they're not legal in the U.S.. But my thoughts about the conversion kit is that since it's a modification that it won't change the way you register your bike. Now if it was a ground up build I think it would be a different story.

This one is street legal as far as I know. I saw them running at Deals Gap one weekend.

I spoke with a guy from this company and this is what he had to say:

Your question has a complex answer. It depends on the state. Technically, Trikes can be illegal in California much less a Quad. In Montana, the Quad is preferred over a Trike. In KY, legal, etc.. and so on and so on. As for US in general, the only thing that applies federally is that the Quad can not currently be registered as a car because it does not have 5 mph front and rear bumpers. As I said, multi-faceted issue.

I guess I'm moving to one of those states!
