Another tire thread....:chat:
What pressures were you running at?My 2008 would wear in the middle around every 6K miles. Much sooner than others and discovered it was because of the speed I was running at. The faster you go the quicker the center will wear. Does not matter what tire pressure your run, it's due to the 2 ply design!

24 is still too much....you need to go lower than that to make a difference.Tried everything from 24 - 30lbs. Settled on 28lbs but after 30K miles I can assure you pressure makes little to no difference in the wear.

What do you want? :dontknow:
The Boss says "PG-13"
So we really can't talk much about sex...
What else is left?
Oh... I forgot about helmets!! :roflblack:
Ahhhh... But the sidewalls...It's been widely accepted as fact that the Kenda was a 2 ply tire.....it's a 3 ply! I never bothered checking till today.pps:

I think that you should celebrate the passing of the Kenda, by toasting it...
I got 22,000 but used the manufacturer's wear limit point...View attachment 92650 There is a wear bar accross that triangle on the edge of the tire..
I am amazed at the big differences reported on tire performance of the OEM tires. I have a 2010 rt and ride two up all the time and don't spare the throttle. The rear tire pressure is at, 28psi, rear shock at, 60 psi and I am at 12,323. I am going to change it out within the next, 1000 miles. Why would there be a, 5-6000 mile difference?? :chat:
:dontknow:....#1, Why do you think BRP has any expertise in formulating tire compounds .............IMHO I lay this issue at the feet of KENDA........The #1 maker of Performance Tires.... " NOT ".......Mikeguyver :thumbup:2011 RT...replaced rear at 18, xxx, still had a couple thou in it when it was replaced. Replaced with another Kenda....if it ends up being a low mileage tire because BRP went for a compound change and screwed things up. It'll be the last Kenda to go on(their fault...not mine). Time will tell. Note to BRP. If it ain't broke....don't monkey with it. You have more than enough unresolved problems. Don't ya know?
