New Spyder owner!

Hey all,

Just wanted to stop in and say hello. Bought an 09 SM5 a couple months ago and have been riding every chance I get. I've been reading for awhile on here and really appreciate all the great info this board has to offer. Here's a pic of the new ride.

Great color. I looked at an 09 just like that but waited to long to pull the trigger. Ended up spending a bit more on a 2012 but now that I have ridden it I would have paid double (well maybe not double)

I like the front of the later models better. Don't think a later model would've been in my price range though. The price of these shocked me when I first started shopping for one. I would have to say the only downside I see to the spyder is the cost of anything related to it. The backrest that came with mine was 500-600 bucks!

I am in the same boat as you are, I just bought a new 14RTS-SE6 in Cognac. I love it, because of the Power, shifting , running @ low rpms in high gears, the color, the quite engine, accelerate quicker when I need to ( example like passing or just riding on the highway) Keep the 3 wheels on the ground, Ride safe enjoy Deanna777hyea:
