There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Tire went on Friday

My dealer installed a 215 / 60 / 15 Michelin Hydroedge on Friday, I put 400 miles on it yesterday, and I couldn't be happier. It handles better than the stock did and corrects the speedometer to be "on" with the GPS. I'll need some long term testing in the rain, but I have high expectations that it will work out just as well as it does in the dry. I'm leaving for the Gaspe on the 10th so I expect that over the next month it'll get a really good workout. My new Elkas go on next Friday, so I should be good to go.

That Michelin is the best tire you can have on a Spyder. I have one on the rear and 2 in front. Very happy.

Have a nice trip in Gaspe. Welcome in Quebec.

Which one are you using on the front? I still have the originals on the front.

I love the Gaspe. This will be my 5th trip up there. Wonderful people, great scenery, and great food. What more can you ask for? One of the guys I travel with speaks fluent French so that makes it even easier. I don't speak much of any French, but have found the people up there accommodating, helpful, and I have never had a problem communicating. So even if you don't speak the native language, I would encouage anyone not to let this deter them from seeing this lovely place.

Great news..!!

have a great trip and fill us in on how that new tire and stuff work out on the road...:2thumbs::ohyea::ohyea:

There are some 155/60-15s available that would work.

Yah, tire rack shows 2, neither a Michelin. That's a pretty good size though. 1/3 in narrower and 1/8" higher.

Luckily the fronts have stood up pretty well so I have time to find the right fit. With 7000 miles on the bike, the back was down to the wear bars, whereas the fronts still look good.
