• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recently checked on my Antigrvity Micro-Start PPS jump start battery and found it to be dead. It had only been in the Spyder for a month and should not have been dead. The best I can figure is it was packed tight in the bottom of the trunk with my rain suit and the button got pushed, turning the flashlight on. So I recommend checking on the charge often. It would be a shame to have bought this for an emergency and if you needed it, it was dead.

Sorry to hear that. I had purchased mine in April 2014 and checked it before a 10 day vacation/ride over the 4th of July. It was still fully charged -- that was only 3 months from the initial charge, but the battery showed all lights on and fully charged.

Only a couple thoughts here. One, is your theory of the button got pushed --- high probability. :dontknow:

Only other thought you got a defective unit? :dontknow: I bought mine from Amazon.

If it continues to give you trouble, I would return it for a replacement.

Based on the posts and reviews I read about this unit, it sounds very reliable.

Good luck to you!

BTW...you had me wondering...so I checked mine again this morning -- still 5 lights on - full charge! :D

Purchased mine from Pitbull during Spyderfest, used it several times and every 90 days put the charge back on since the unit shuts off automatically when fully charged.
