• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New ST owners

Just announcing that we are the Happy owners of a 2013 ST.

Had the Cat bypass done along with a BajaRon anti-sway bar and all is good 3300 miles and ticking on the new ride already.

Of course we did have it aligned shortly after picking it up.

Hats off to the folks at FunCenter Powersports in Durango, CO for the way they treated us while in town for the owners event.
They are a class act in the way they stepped up servicing our new spyder (selling dealer neglected doing any of the recalls).IMAG0111.jpg

Yes the folks out in the heartland can make customer service something special.
I think given the chance there are a lot of good dealers, just some bad apples out there...

Great that you are happy with your dealer. Enjoy.

Traveling as much as we do for work, I cant say we have a dealer... Have dealt with several around the country and more often than not have had good experiences. (do most of the maintenance ourselves on the spyders)

Congrats on the new ride!!!! I got a 2013 ST this year also and it's the only way to go :ohyea::ohyea:

If Durango, CO is "midwest" then I guess I'm in the middle east :roflblack::roflblack:

I still cannot get over that the selling dealer in Texas had not done any of the recalls/service bulletins on this Spyder. That includes ball joints and the recall for melting parts. It scares me to think what could have happened if you had not taken it to Fun Center for the first service.

Ann, you are so right. I wonder how many spyder have not had these items done...
We all know not all spyder owners are on here to get the info on issues like these.

2nd oil change under its belt.
ST used no oil during this cycle. that is nice, its older sibling the 2010 RT has always used a bit of oil.
(they are playing nice with each other so far)

St in pieces

Where did this go???
Had to take the thing apart, way apart to find this

Seriously had the front trunk off as well but it was back on before these photos were taken.
Nice to know how it all fits together.

Nice garage!!!!!!!!:2thumbs:

Have to fess up to that location, Its at work, lots of open space to do things on the weekend.
Our garage is a whopping 8.5 x 14 in back of the Viper toyhauler, It would be extremely crowded with that much dis-assembly!!
