Hi again guys, thought I'd push your knowledge just that little bit further. So the next project is fitting some driver running lights on my RT. After nearly running into a driver who said "He just didn't see me" the next mod has unfolded.
So I've bought the lights and fitted them,(great) I've bought a switch (great) but now comes the wiring. Now my RT is a 2010 and when I checked what was under the blank fog light plate I found this white junction box. I take it this is for the fog lights on the USA model. Now, thinking that Can Am would keep things simple, I checked near the front suspension for a spare plug in connector. (please keep with me I'm getting to the point!) Now on either side of the suspension is a connector with 3 wires going in and only 2 wires coming out, the wire that is not connected to anything is a white(or grey) and a thin green color cable. This cable looks the same as the one coming out of the block up by the switch.
So the question is, are these cables used on other models as a fog light cable and does it go to the cable block.?

I am a bit confused, which isn't unusual.
Your pics show fog/driving lights installed yet you say there is no switch in the driving light switchblock?

It's a UK model Roger. What your looking at are not fog lights, those are the low beams.

I think this is one of the changes can am do when they ship the over to the uk., I also read in the owners manual that the fog lights only activate when the engine exceeds 800 ŕpm. Seems ill have to get a voltage meter on it tomorrow.

I think this is what you need.

If you can get a stock FOG light switch and plug it in it will work. All you need at the front trunk connector is pin the empty location (gray /green strip wire) which comes from the fog light switch and add a ground. Same pin location on the other side.

BTW, I am still trying to get SpyderCodes up and running on the Blackberry.

After doing battle with the Windows Store Apps Code (tried Visual Basic, C# and C++ to no avail) over the last four days I can say that unless something radically changes, SpyderCodes won't be going there.

Android apps already work on my Blackberry. The problem is how to get the android apps. Google Play will not play with my Blackberry.
New news announced this week. Blackberry and Amazon have reached an agreement for Blackberry devices to get access to the Amazon Android Appstore for android apps. This to happen sometime this fall.

So today I checked the cables for power and all was ok once I started my :spyder2: and to do this I used my test meter to ensure the polarity was ok.



and then I connected the switch up and fitted it back into the slot,
