There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Will all rims fit all spyders??

Front tire size changed in 2013. You can put them on an earlier model but will need to go to the larger tire size and will need to change/modify the fenders.

The tires on the 12 vs 13 are not much different in physical size 13 models a 15 inch wheel but a 55 profile tire verus a 12 model with a 65 profile tire.

12 == 165/65 R14 22.5 overall diameter
13 == 165/55 R15 22.6 overall diameter

Bigger rim but overall diameter pretty close to the same size

So, it should fit without any modifications to the fender?

I personally have not tried them on a 12 or older myself but they should work. Are you buying new wheels and tires ?

I thought there were some posts back in '13 about a change in rim offset when they changed the size of rotors and tire diameter.:dontknow:

As I see it..!!

retired1is right, there were some posts about the new brembo calipers being larger and the throwout was increased to compensate. The rim was changed to a 15" but the tire profile was dropped making it close to the same size. Can't remember but seems that they did work or you had to add some washers to space the fender out a bit....search it here if you don't get someone who has done it....:thumbup:

Yes, offset is different for your RS. All RT wheels have a different offset and all 13'+ wheels have a different offset than the 08-12' GS/RS.
I run RT wheels on my RS and only had to remove the 2 1/2" spacers at each fender bracket. Mine is a 12'. Not sure if the 09' has the same fender mounting method...
Look at where your fender brackets attach to the hub/spindle area. If you see a silver spacer between the fender bracket and hub then your good. Pick up some shorter bolts and remove the spacer.

Brake caliper clearance should be a non - issue for what your looking to do.

I wasn’t planning on it, but I guess I would have to if I bought those rims. I have less than 1500 miles on my current falkens. Some other concerns would be.
1 - will it stop the same?
2 - is it ok with the sensors, vss, etc.?
3 - would the speedometer be accurate?
4 - would it improve the ride? Or make it worse?

Nothing should really change but the bigger rims and lower profile tire MAY change the ride , will be little stiffer sidewall of a tire but that also depend on what tires you go with.

If you just purchased new tires , well that depends on how bad you want the blade wheels since your gonna need new tires with the new wheels, you could put your old ones up for sale , probably would sell pretty good since the tires are new
