There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FRONT Tire size for a 2013 RT

Solus Kumho

Thanks for all your input guys. I ordered 2 Komho's this morning and they will be installed tomorrow. Anybody want to buy a spare Kenda? I have one with 5k on it. hahaha. Didn't really like the Kenda's anyway.

Keep us posted on the differences. I (and others) am very curious on how they work out.

The question I have for those who have gone to the dark side is what tire pressure are you running on front car tires?

Mike,
What do you think of them? :dontknow:
Are they a viable alternative to the Kenda?
How's the ride, traction, and treadwear looking for them?

I'm having them mounted right now.. The reviews on the tire itself look good but the wifey n me are leavin beginig of July to Fla so I will def post a review of how they work on the spyder then :)

Cool... :2thumbs:
Have a safe and fun trip next Month!

... :lecturef_smilie:And we'll be expecting that tire review on our desks, upon your return! :D

New Kumho's

Hi folks, I put the new Kumho's on the bike this past Tuesday. They fit great and ride great too!. I've got the tire pressure at 26 lbs for now. Only problem I have had is trying to find someone to Balance them. My dealer is not real close but that looks like about the only option. The do not vibrate or anything without any weights on them and I will probably ride that way for a while. The suspension seems fine after that huge jolt to it. No pulling of any kind and I can still take my hands off the bar and shes goes nice and straight. n Thanks again for all of your inputs.:doorag:

Got the wheels n tires back on today so tomorrow I just have to check the belt tension and double check all fasteners :) pics to follow...

Yes they are the Solus Kumho's 155/60/R15 A tid bit higher and a hair narrower. They fit very well. $90.00 each mounted.:doorag:

They should not be any higher the diameter of the tires is the same as stock. -.4" is a trifle narrower. Might be from old tire wear or stiffer sidewall but should have the same fender clearance as the stock tire. Keep us posted on the performance too.

According to the Kenda size the Kumho's are 5 mm higher on the sidewall for a total of 10mm overall. They fit perfect with plenty of clearance on the fender yet. So far I have noticed very responsive steering. Probably because they are brand new and I am running 26 lbs air pressure. It's just a slight adjustment to the way I steer. They seem to be quieter than the OEM Kenda's also. Hard to say.....:doorag:

 My bad looking at my previous post they do sit a wee bit higher. I would lower the pressure to 20 and see how it rides. Thanks

and the fronts... Kinda limited due to 6.5" width on the stockers 165/55 R15 . Looks like Kumho Solus 155/60-r15 would be a good front choice if I read it right. A little narrower

Even with a little bit less width; they look as if they're filling that rim up nicely!
Now all that we need, are some "Reports From The Saddle" about their handling! :2thumbs:
