• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FRONT Tire size for a 2013 RT

Hi Guys, I've looked at pages and pages of threads on replacement tires but really haven't found the size needed for a 2013 RT front. (I've got a headache now lol). Just wanted to know the recommended size that can be used on the front 165/55R15 is a difficult size to find from most manufacturers. 175/55R15's are more readily available but with the almost 1/2 in height make a difference? Please advise i blew a front tire yesterday in a PA pothole (crater) and thought I might replace both tires. I have been running the 17 lbs on the fronts and if the tire pressure would have been in the upper 20's or lower 30's like a normal tire I don't think it would have blown. The tire got pinched on the sidewall by the wheel. Wheel has a little bend in the rim too! Great thing though...very easy to stop and control. No one hurt and the bike is good too except both mirrors popped off..Looked like one of those cars we had when we were kids. Boom! and it falls apart. Please help thanks guys/girls:doorag:
 
and the fronts... Kinda limited due to 6.5" width on the stockers 165/55 R15 . Looks like Kumho Solus 155/60-r15 would be a good front choice if I read it right. A little narrower

As I see it..!!

the original tires (Kenda) has done well on the front. Vee rubber (arachnid) is making spyder tires but not sure on this size. If your running car tires in back try to match the fronts to it. If you still have the Kenda rear get the kenda for the front...jmo...:thumbup:

I find them to be much better handling and quality of ride than the Kendas. And of course much bettep wear. Properly inflated they are the least bit harsh
