• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone know the ID (inside diameter) of the vacuum hose for the MAP sensor? Have been to four different parts houses and can't come up with the correct ID hose. It's 90 degrees and humid, my shop doesn't have a/c, my legs are cramping. I've had it with counter clerks that say "use this it doesn't matter. Just put a zip tie on it". :banghead: It's a damn good thing I took my meds today.

I need to replace mine too at some point. I have the hose and fairly certain the 3mmid iscwhatvi got. I swapped them out on my wife's bike no problem. On mine, the stock hose won't come off the metal barb at all. Slides right off the plastic though. Probably gonna have to cut mine off.

Is this for Kris' bike?
If it is; I SURE hope that it solves the problem!
Good Luck!

grab it as close to the fitting as you can and give it a twist. It should come right off.

Yes it is. The hoses look ok, one has some slight cracking at the radius but not all the way through. I'll replace then anyway. I found some 4mm hose at a small foreign car shop. By the way, looked at my math again and 5/32 comes out to 4mm rounded. However, all the 5/32 I found was hard hose. Had a bunch of parts houses try to sell me 7/64 washer hose. Too small at 2mm. Anyway, I'll let you know how it turns out. I think I need a drink.
