i lease my cars, so when we had a hail storm here a year ago, my last car had some small damage done to it, i called mt insurance company and put in a claim but told them i didn't want it fixed unless it was picked up the the leasing company. so they just took the report and when i turned it in for my new car they didn't notice the damage and the insurance company never paid out for the claim
