Think about the maintenance savings: oil changes at 9,300 miles, Break-in service at 3,000 miles NO Valve adjustments ever!!
Between all of these savings PLUS the additional savings due to better fuel economy; you'll be needing to burn those extra C-Notes that are cluttering up your wallet! :2thumbs:

My problem is not the wife but ME. She said sometime back to go for the '14 but I am the one trying to use good sense. I am at least waiting for the '15's to check out the colors, Blue maybe? But hey, I could buy a 2015 Mustang for the price of the Spyder, or a number of other cool cars. I guess my problem is I keep asking myself, if I am going to spend that much money, what do I really want to spend it on? Believe me, I love the Spyder, I can't see me riding anything else, period! Then I think about retirement, darn it. Will I need that 25 to 30 grand? Maybe. Do I want to work another year or two from what I have planned? not really. If I were a rich man,,,,, la de da de da de da de da de da,,,Remember the song? Well I am not rich by any means, I am comfortable though. Shoot! I hope,,,, they don't,,,,,,,, make ,,,,, a blue one. :banghead::gaah:

We finally had a nice day in upstate NY. I took our 2010 RT out for a nice ride through a lot of country roads. Instead of enjoying the scenery all I could think about was a new 2014 RT limited. She will absolutely kill me, even if I simply mention it. I've got to come up with a plan!

A very good idea to have the spouse in on all of this. Coming home with a $30K machine without input, could lead to some major problems. A joint test drive is a good start--IMO.

I did drive a demo at my dealer a few weeks ago Bob. I wasn't really blown away but I did like the improvements mainly in the engine and cooling departments. My '10 is set up really good with Ron's bar and fox shocks. It feels glued to the road a little better than the '14. I think BRP has hit a home run with the '14. And Yes, I would love to see a blue one in '15 then a test drive would probably end up in my drive way. It will be because :shemademe_smilie: . that's what I'll tell everybody anyway.
