There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Aftermarket Exhaust Pricing?

Why do some exhausts (e.g., 2 brothers) cost so much more than others (e.g. spyder1attitude)? I'm in the market but really concerned/confused as to what I might be buying. Don't want to repeat my "handle" - Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time!

Quality of construction , exotic materials sometimes , Research & Development plays a large part in the pricing of the cans , the pipes are tuned to the specific bike , they are designed to fit perfectly and improve BHP and torque and sound and looks etc etc .
Or you could go out and buy some cheapo pile of scrap that will strangle your pride and joy before blowing apart , cheap carbon fibre can often be destroyed by V twin exhaust pulses .
I guess you pays your money and takes your choice , but having said that research is a wonderful thing , learn by others mistakes

Two Bros. is a big company producing pipes and other stuff for many different bikes as well as sponsoring in races. They also have name recognition on their side.

Spyder1Attitude pipes are made by a SpyderLover. Great guy, very intelligent and I love the sound of his pipes. He has low overhead on his side to keep the cost down.

Hope someone with Spyder1Attitude pipes will chime in on how they like them!

Choices choices..!!

there is a lot as stated above. Some just go for the looks, some for the sound, some for the price and some for performance. Some for a combination of reasons. The higher tech ones may require fuel controllers and air management systems to work at their best and some you just bolt on and go. There the name just like clothing...so based on what your looking for you need to shop. You tube has most of the pipes on video with sound which can help. Then you can ask here and you will get a great deal of responses which can give you a reference point...have fun shopping..!!:yikes:

He also has inexpensive materials and poor construction quality to keep costs down. Twice bitten by his products. Wait for Lamonster to sell his.

:agree: Cheap, Quiet= You won,t need a $4,000 Hearing aid when your 70? nojoke
and Installation is No Extra charge!:hun: ( What Yaa Saay?)

After deleting the cat, I am pretty happy with the sound of the OEM pipe and muffler. And the build quality is pretty good.;)

Spyder1attitude duel

Just bought the Spyder1attitude duel set up, looks great, sounds great, just seems a little loud after cursing around with the OME muffler for 3 years, lol.
So I am waiting for a set of baffles to tone it down a bit, probably just need some rode time to get used them.
They are not Harley loud, but attract a lot of attention, probably not a bad thing with distracted drivers out there.

my muffler

SECOND that phrase, had them and chunked them out after a few months. they were a :roflblack: . I have tried them all with no satisfaction -there's JUST no justification for those kind of prices.
after all they're just glorified muffler cans.:yikes: I built my own and as today still the best system out there for a :f_spider:
100_4588.jpg 100_4587.jpg 100_4584.jpg as you can see it has oem direct bolt on NOT clamped on. does clamp at muffler end so you can try different versions of muffler cans.
COST = about 90 bucks and my time of welding. I have a video clip posted here somewhere!

It might void your BRP warranty. That's IMHO.
