iPod not connectiing

I am looking for some information on how to get my 2013 RT Ltd SE5 to connect with my iPod. I am using the cable that came with my RT. The screen on the iPod say "Accessory Connected", but it does not show up on the dashboard screen - only the radio shows up. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance. By the way, it does not connect to my Mp3 player either.

Did you toggle threw screens ?

hit the Mode button and then the set button to scroll thru the options (AM FM Weather Ipod). :thumbup:

It will not automatically switch to iPod/Aux. You have to do that manually on the audio display.

Make sure your using the cable with the Apple Ipod/Iphone connector not the one with the single pin connector. The latter is for audio output only and will not display on the Spyders screen.
