• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

$&&*=#% snow!!

$$%%$#@$?%## !

-23.8 F with the wind here in Cold Lake Alberta, Canada... Please get me out of this bad dream !:banghead:

Nearly 70* yesterday and we are supposed to have another 3" of snow tonight! Mom Nature is just toying with us. But I do feel sorry for our Canadian friends. Keep in mind that she they "go south" for the winter, like we do, they go all the way to Toronto, Montreal, Quebec...! :D Maybe we can just have our southern friends keep writing about their travels so we can at least READ ABOUT RIDING!!

Ryde my 2014 RT L for first time later today - whohoooooooo - 1 day at 60 degrees

Roads are dry, 60 degree forecast for TODAY ONLY....I'm going to ryde my 2014 RT L for the first time whohooooooooo.........:yes::yes::yes::yes::yes: (after church that is, praying for better weather).

Forecast drops like a rock and back in the 30's for the rest of the week - -ugh. Very little relief this winter - hate it. :banghead::banghead: It's been 168 days since it was 60 degrees here, but who's counting :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: I think it was October 13, 2013....WOW :shocked::shocked::yikes::yikes:

This has been one long hard winter. Still, the only month that I didn't get in at least one riding day was February. Got in quite a few nice riding days this month, just had to watch out for those killer potholes. Not many people think it is a nice riding day at 34 degrees, but why not? If there is no snow to shovel, you have to do something outside. BRP does own ski-doo, so it is in the machine's blood, right?

You did well. It's tougher on this side of the state. The ice didn't leave our driveway altogether until this Tuesday. The street is still narrowed by snow piles, and only about 1/3 of the yard shows bare ground. At the new house project the lot is still 80% snow covered, and what isn't snow is mud. This has been my longest layoff from riding in over 50 years.

Scotty,
When does your riding season normally start?
I'm a Month behind; back here in New York! :gaah:
I'd say we are about a month behind on the temperatures...more on the continuous snow cover. It is tough all over this year. What I wouldn't give to see a forsythia blossom or a tulip or daffodil.
